James D. Briggs, Managing Director. Jim Briggs, co-founder of Freestone Partners, has experience in engineering, general management, finance and strategic consulting in diverse industries including energy and chemicals, consumer and industrial products and e-commerce. After beginning his career in the energy industry with Tenneco and Transocean Offshore Drilling, Jim served as a general manager for Utopia Spring Water Company for three years. Jim's experience also includes eight years abroad, five of which were in Russia where he founded a wholesale distribution company and ran his own corporate advisory practice.
