PBS Lumber Manufacturing Announces the Acquisition of Garland-Gaston Lumber Company

AUGUST 12, 2005, HOUSTON – PBS Lumber Manufacturing, LLC, a portfolio company of Freestone Partners, announced the acquisition of Garland-Gaston Lumber Company in Camden, Arkansas. Garland-Gaston, to be renamed PBS Lumber Manufacturing – Camden, LLC, is the second sawmill to be acquired by PBS Lumber. The sawmill manufactures southern yellow pine dimension lumber in sizes ranging from 2x4 through 2x8. Over the next 18 months, PBS will make extensive improvements to the mill, substantially increasing its manufacturing capacity.
