PBS Lumber Manufacturing Announces the Appointment of Bob Schutte as CEO

JUNE 15, 2005, HOUSTON – PBS Lumber Manufacturing, LLC, a portfolio company of Freestone Partners, announced the appointment of Bob Schutte as CEO. PBS Lumber is a softwood dimension lumber manufacturer with a sawmill in Winnfield, Louisiana. Prior to joining PBS, Bob was with D.R. Johnson Lumber Company in Riddle, Oregon where he was COO of a five-sawmill lumber manufacturing operation. Prior to his tenure with D.R. Johnson, Bob was Vice President of Manufacturing at Hampton Lumber in Portland, Oregon. While at Hampton, Bob oversaw more than $100 million in capital upgrades. “We are fortunate to have Bob join PBS,” said George Clark, Managing Director of Freestone Partners. “He is a strong leader with outstanding experience managing multi-mill lumber operations.”
