Freestone Partners, LLC, Announces Acquisition of a Third Chemical Plant by Lynx Chemical Group, LLC NOVEMBER 3, 2003, HOUSTON – Freestone Partners, LLC, announced that Lynx Chemical Group, LLC, in which a Freestone affiliate holds a substantial ownership interest, has acquired a third specialty chemical plant from Birmingham, Alabama-based Vulcan Materials Company. The plant, located in Columbus, Georgia, has capacity for manufacturing a broad range of specialty chemicals and will complement Lynx’s manufacturing operations in Smyrna and Dalton, Georgia.
